Sunshine’s Place is a family-centered, comprehensive, year-round program for children and families in the greater New Bedford area. The Center’s goals are to promote early learning, foster independence and self-sufficiency, and to build on the capacity of families through a range of support systems and services that we have available. Special emphasis is placed on creating a language rich environment, promoting child-centered exploration/learning, and supporting the social/emotional needs of young children in order to prepare them to be ready for public school.
